Using a mixed grip (one hand supinated and the other pronated) with your hands no wider than shoulder width, start in a complete hanging position under a fixed bar. To pull your body up you will actually have the supinated arm doing chinup mechanics (elbow in) and the pronated arm doing pullup mechanics (elbow out) to get your chin over the bar. Once again, use assistance if needed. Make sure to change grips on each set so that you are not always using the same mix.
