Stepup



Place the bar either on the front of the shoulders like a front squat or behind your neck. Stand with your feet even and at about hip width facing the bench. Step your right foot on top of the bench and drive upward until your other foot is able to step up on top of the bench. Make sure to extend all the way up using only the working leg. Do not place your other foot on the bench until you reach this point. Pause at the top and lower your left foot back down to the ground, maintaining control so that it lands softly on the ground. Do all the repetitions while keeping your right foot on top of the bench. Do not take it off the bench until you complete your reps. Now repeat with your other leg. This will complete 1 set.

Stepup A Stepup B TIP: To increase the intensity of your stepups, try holding the bar in the front position.
